Photogenic Venues

I know it might not be at the top of your reasons for choosing a venue, but whether it lends itself to photography can make a big difference to your wedding photos.

The following shots are all from St. Aubries near Minehead. This was a terrific venue, the orangery was used for the service, perfect lighting and perfect place for a service too. The rest of the building was perfect, roomy, interesting, lots of fascinating features and grand scale too. Incidentally, while venues like this can be very expensive, late bookings and weekday bookings are often a lot cheaper. Anyway, just have a look at the pictures.

For something closer to home Clearwell Castle is a great outdoor venue
(though suprisingly is less interesting).

The steps make a great group photo location

And there are lots of spots around the building
for making special and unique images too.

And for something completely different,
there’s always the great outdoors!
