This is Alena and she’s our official “Yummy Mummy” for November 2011.   We were all instantly struck by Alena’s good looks and figure.   After our make-up specialist Lucy had completed Alena’s hair styling and make-up we just thought Alena looked gorgeous.

Venture Studios went into liquidation earlier this year and Double Take Studios closed its doors in November.   While it’s always sad for the employees under these circumstances it has to be said both sets of studios had a reputation for being very aggressive in their sales techniques.

I love it when a couple come up with something different for their wedding day.   Claire has been a long time vintage fashion icon – every time I see her she looks absolutely immaculate.  And Lee is completely into his own style.  
 
Right from the first time I saw them I knew I had to shoot their wedding and I’m so pleased I did.

Well, it’s entirely down to your priest – or in a civil wedding, the registrar.
 
You have no say I’m afraid.
 
The typical permission we get is to photograph the following moments:
- Bride coming up the aisle.
- A fake signing of the register
- Married couple coming down the aisle.
 
At no point other than that are we allowed to photograph.
 
Now some are a bit more relaxed and will allow a small and discrete number of photographs to be taken during the service, but without flash.
