Ooh, good question.   If it’s me, no.   But that’s not true for all photographers.
 
For me, when you sit down for your meal, that’s my time to put my feet up (it’s a 12 hour plus day for me remember), I do some equipment checking / cleaning etc as required.  I will snack from your evening buffet if you’re having one.   For me – I always love a good pudding and a coffee at the end your meal though

 This was an excellent wedding day, themed around the idea of Country and Western.  Even down to the cake decoration (check out the boots!)
The bride and groom were keen line dancers and all their friends knew them that way so they wanted to keep the theme throughout.   The did toy with the idea that the evening guests would have to wear full cowboy gear – that would have been brilliant!
 
 As soon as guests walked in the door you got the sense of the Western style – of course it helped …

Had a call this week from a bride who had booked a photographer and basically got crap photos and crap service.
She gave me the name and I looked them up.   £50 an hour of shooting was what they were charging.
OK, let me tell you, you are gonna get what you pay for at £50/hour!
On the face of it, it sort of sounds reasonable, that’s about what a hair-dresser or plumber might charge.   But trust me, with photographers what goes on behind the scenes is just as important as what happens …
