For those of you who don’t know – my studio is right next door to Manor by the Lake so this was about as local as you can get for me!
Jenny is of course Chinese and her relatives had come over for the wedding – and of course there had to be a strong Chinese theme to the day.  Red is of course a lucky colour and the top table is number 8 (you’ve seen the adverts!)

Kay and John were married up in Cheshire, with a service at a really nice United Reform Church at Thornton Hough and a wedding reception at Hillbark Hotel at Frankly Wirral.
Kay and John were a really nice couple, a real genuine tenderness between them and neither of them could stop grinning all day. 
Hillbark Hotel is terrific photographically – just so many great places to shoot indoors and out, shame its not nearby.  But then I will travel anywhere for a wedding!

Louise and Ashley wanted a very informal wedding, no big razz-ma-tazz, but where their guests would have fun. So as well as a live saxophonist they also had a magician entertaining at the tables.


The wedding service and reception were in the Queen’s Hotel by Montpelier, Cheltenham. They used the conservatory which gives a nice intimate venue for the weddings with fewer guests.


We had some good shots in the garden, but we also snuck over the road to Imperial Park for some big group shots.
