I love the painterly effect on this image.   Ms DeBauch has that sort of pin-up look about her and I wanted to echo the fifties painted pin-up style for her.
But of course one of the best things about working with a model like Anita is in their flexibility.
That they can change their style so easily and know how to work in a different set and lighting arrangement.
 
Because here she is looking completely different again.

Deborah is a photographer, designer, jewelry maker and stylist all in her own right. I always enjoy working with Deborah because she brings such intelligence and understanding to our shoots.
She’s wonderfully flexible in style, capable of going from ditzy airhead roller-skater to elegant and sophisticated in a flick of an eye.

This is not the first time that Anita has appeared on the blog and I’m sure it won’t be the last.
In amongst some silly stuff we were doing we were both interested in creating a dark, moody and quasi-vintage look.
This suits Anita’s face and her natural temperament. Anita works hard on the burlesque circuit and has an amazing collection of vintage clothes.
